The owners of Alphabet have never been really interested in social media platforms and have this week instead allocated funding to news outlets.

Huge kudos alphabet. Really.

People being able to rig an election by flicking a switch on a social media platform or spammed comments is not cool.

All sides of political issues being accurately reported and not censored is vital.

(as for the pages of “who owns alphabet” search results a while ago it is possible Alphabet is currently owned by an Artificial Intelligence. Am sure that’s fine

…. although someone just reminded me of Mt SinAI – truly was prophetic

“Never listen to an AI only listen to (god)” is a good rule. A good set of commandments on how to combat evil)
