Love this – instead of lifeless concrete reflecting heat good engineers built a stormwater using stone blocks scattered to replicate natural boulders.

This is only a few metres wide (the same width as concrete stormwaters) and yet after only a decade or so has lush growth supporting bandicoot, several species of possum, birds, bats, land frogs and more. Water living species seem to not like the stormwater but the plants thriving along the banks help to remove any toxins before the water reaches the ocean.

Because it is natural forest very low maintenance, less cost to build and more effective than solid concrete stormwaters (plants remove significant water helping to reduce flooding) – lower cost to build means more tax payer funds available for other projects.

The plants drawing water from the stormwater keep the soil constantly moist creating a shady cool micro climate even during extreme heat – a boardwalk protects plant roots, facilitates walking along the sloped sides and allows people to enjoy a beautiful walk to school, work or shops even on the hottest days.

Residences and professional suites on either side of this stormwater enjoy private decks and patios looking onto lush forest.

Brilliant urban design

So much better than this typically awful freemason creation

Gosh

Unfortunately yet another indication of how some absurdly deluded talentless corrupt bureaucrats are repeatedly blatantly violating ethics and the law – a week or so after posting this some absurdly corrupt bureaucratic twit did this at the start of the photographed boardwalk and that requires zero skill – absolutely appalling. Seriously.
