My great grand mother hand baked cookies with a wooden spoon using flour and butter.

My grand mother used to purchase a tin of biscuits to serve whenever unexpected guests arrived. A tin of biscuits lasted a month or more. We still have some of her biscuit tins.

My parents purchased a packet of biscuits and had a few every day at morning tea. A packet of biscuits lasted a week or so.

I purchase a packet of Tim Tams to share with a girlfriend and an entire packet of Tim Tams lasts less than an afternoon.

Some twenty something relatives get their biscuits hand delivered by Uber ordered via an app and are genuinely mystified that anyone could walk rather than drive to the shops.

Some teenager munchkins will only consume cookies made with fair trade chocolate and organic flour – either hand made or purchased is acceptable but only in paper or cardboard packaging never plastic.

Fascinating. Truly.

Sharing is best and am not involved in that. Apologies.
