We are reporting ….

Occasionally when we were alone Dad used to tell a story of Rupert Murdochs farewell party. Here is a shortened version ….

Rupert left being showered with streamers, confetti, champagne corks and cheers.

After Rupert left Dad raised his champagne glass and toasted “Rupert has left for America!” Pip Pip Hooray! Pip Pip Hooray! Pip Pip Hooray!

Then, someone else raised their champagne glass and toasted “That’ll be the end of them!” Pip Pip Hooray! Pip Pip Hooray! Pip Pip Hooray!

Let’s hope that is not the case

(Am all for the good guys winning and in our opinion unfortunately the fibbing sleazy Biden’s and fake-hotels-Rumps are not good guys – not even close to being good guys tending towards consistently awful but that’s just my opinion.

In fact American politics has actually become so boring it is unlikely we will be commenting at all.

Happily other media outlets will hopefully be uncensored and report appalling bureaucratic conduct accurately)
