Whilst snacking on wholegrains was reminded of my father’s love of gardening. Dad was an engineer that loved to discuss with wonder how a seed only a few millimeters in size could encode all the information required to build a tree – the information permanently stored until the correct temperature and moisture activated it and although seeds may look similar each is encoded with instructions to build a unique species of plant – an extraordinary piece of engineering.

We now have electron microscopes and 3D printers – seeds are cellulose and some other things – 3D printing seeds would be so so so so cool
